* A rough illustration, not a measurement: a dedicated GPU grinder taken as ~1,000× this device. Real hardware varies a lot.
// grind it
Type a pattern that can happen, then grind for it.
Everything happens in this tab: keys come from your browser's own WebCrypto, in background workers on your device. Nothing is sent, logged or saved, and this site's security policy blocks its pages from loading scripts or images from, or fetching and posting to, any other server. Watch your devtools Network tab while it grinds if you'd like to check. Only the winning key is ever read out; every other one is dropped unseen. For serious money, a hardware wallet still beats any generated key.

Makes real Ed25519 keypairs with WebCrypto for about 2.5 seconds in background workers and throws every one away on the spot. No private key is ever shown, stored or sent anywhere.
// did you know
The first character isn't a fair 1 in 58. An address is a 32-byte number below 2²⁵⁶ ≈ 1.16 × 10⁷⁷, and 44 base58 digits count way past that, so 44-character addresses run out of numbers early and only start with 2…J. A z can only start the shorter 43-character ones, which makes it about 17× rarer than the naive guess.
all 58, exact
Estimates are statistical: grinding is pure luck, and you can hit on the first key or the billionth. Prefix odds are exact for uniformly random 256-bit keys; suffixes assume a fair 1 in 58 per character. Be wary of online grinders that make keys on their server: whoever runs it has your key too. This one never sees yours. It's made and kept in your browser tab, and closing the tab drops it.
